The exam fee is $72. A recheck appointment is $40. For non-medical services, such as nail trims and anal gland expression, you can book an appointment with one of our skilled veterinary technicians for $20.
Do you see exotic pets?
No. We see only dogs and cats at this time.
What services do you offer?
We are a general practice clinic that offers wellness exams, vaccines, sick visits, diagnostic tests (such as bloodwork and X-rays), dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. We do not hospitalize or board animals overnight.
What’s the cost of a dental cleaning?
Every dental procedure includes a dental cleaning, dental X-rays, and a full oral exam. For the safety of the pet, all dental procedures take place under general anesthesia. Dental cleanings start around $500. Oral surgery to remove any broken or infected teeth may cost more.
People sometimes ask for a dental estimate over the phone. It is impossible for us to give you an accurate estimate without first looking inside the pet’s mouth and evaluating for dental disease. This is why we require an exam prior to booking a dental procedure. We’ll provide a full, written estimate at the time of the exam.
What’s the cost of a spay or neuter?
Dog spays start at $500. Dog neuters start at $450. Bigger dogs require more drugs during surgery, so expect to pay slightly more if you are spaying or neutering a large dog. Cat spays start at $400. Cat neuters start at $175. Additional costs may include microchip placement, hernia repair, or the removal of baby teeth. We’ll provide you with a written estimate at an exam prior to the spay or neuter.
What if I have an emergency?
Clients are encouraged to call the office during business hours. A veterinarian or experienced veterinary technician will help you to determine how quickly your pet should be seen and whether your pet may need a referral to an emergency animal hospital.
If you experience a veterinary emergency after hours, we recommend going straight to a 24-hour emergency animal hospital. Local emergency animal hospitals include NorthStar VETS in Maple Shade, NJ, Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, Mount Laurel, in Mount Laurel, NJ, and BluePearl Pet Hospital (formerly VSEC) in Philadelphia, PA.
Do you see walk-ins?
No. Please call ahead.
Do you offer payment plans?
No. However, we do accept CareCredit.
Do you take pet insurance?
Yes. Here’s how it works: You pay us in full for services at the time they are rendered. Then you submit a claim for reimbursement to your pet insurance company.
We encourage all clients to obtain pet insurance as it can protect pet owners against large, unexpected expenditures.
Are you part of a corporate practice or hospital group?
No. We are an independent, locally owned and operated, family-run business.
How do I schedule an appointment?
